This cocktail pays homage to Just Women’s Sports (JWS), an organization that creates content and increases engagement around women’s sports. JWS was founded in 2020 by Haley Rosen and plays a critical role in media promotion and consumption for women’s sports in the world. To honor JWS, we created a fun cocktail because JWS continues to remind us that being a women’s sports fan is simply, fun.

For this cocktail, we celebrate all thing Canarinhas, from their consistently strong performances at international tournaments to their depth and advocacy as a team. For this version this year, we honor Marta, who will be retiring from International soccer at the end of 2024. One of the GOATs of soccer, Marta was the first soccer player to score at five different World Cups, and the first soccer player to score at five consecutive Olympic Games, and is looking to extend her streak this year. Obrigado Marta!
Cocktail Notes: Cachaca is a Brazilian sugarcane distillate (think similar to rum). Canela is the Spanish word for cinnamon.
The Ballpark Negroni in Portland
BL Beermouth #2, Aimsir Rosé Gin, Campari, Luxardo Maraschino, BL Citrus Bitters
This cocktail takes our favorite part of baseball, the beer, and blends it into a riff on the classic Negroni. For this cocktail, we made our own “Beer-mouth”, our house version of vermouth that splits the base spirit between wine and beer, instead of just wine and a spirit. This version (#2) uses Stormbreaker Brewing Cloud Ripper IPA, brut bubbles, spices, and blackberry. Served up, the beer-mouth makes this a lower ABV negroni that complements the refreshing flavor of local Aimsir Distillery’s Rosé Gin.
